Walk East Norfolk

Explore East Norfolks Amazing Countryside
& Coastal Landscapes

Discover East Norfolk. Varied walks through, countryside fields, woodland, and beach landscapes.
Our walks are designed for people of all ages who appreciate the open air and pleasant company. We combine interesting walks and social interaction. After all walks there is the option to chat and forge friendships over a drink and a snack at a nearby café
Walks are guided by experienced leaders

Where Every Walk Reveals Something New

Our carefully planned walks take you off the beaten track and into the heart of nature. Most walks are between 3 & 4 miles and take around 1 to 1 1/2 hours - shorter alternatives are available from each meeting point as an option for those less able, or just getting back into walking but we all meet afterwards so the social side is not neglected.
On occasions we include a 'Bring & Share' style picnic.

Each Thursday you can join us for a walk along Gorleston seafront - ideal for those who prefer a flat terrain and walking at a slower pace with resting places - something for everyone.

The walk schedule is prepared in advance and can be found on the 'Walks/Membership’ page. The starting locations can be found using your SatNav, or check out the 'Maps/Parking' page. Feel free to message us for assistance.

WHY GO WALKING
A regular brisk walk will improve the performance of your heart, lungs and circulation.
It also helps lower your blood pressure and reduce the risks of many illnesses.
What’s more, it’s enjoyable!
Getting out in the great outdoors is a wonderful tonic for everyone. Sometimes you just need an excuse to do it, or better still a group of like minded people to do it with.
CAR PARKING
All walks have been planned to begin near car parks or convenient roadside parking. However, as our walks have become more popular, parking becomes more difficult. To help avoid this, car-sharing is encouraged. Walk East Norfolk assume no liability for car parking which remains the responsibility of the driver.
CLOTHING
Fair or foul weather the walks usually go ahead! Please wear clothing which will keep you warm and dry, Wear footwear that will keep your feet dry in wet conditions and will also prevent you from slipping and sliding. It’s simply a matter of watching the weather and using common sense.
